Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CryptoBasis Pro ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the website at cryptobasispro.com (the "Site") and the CryptoBasis Pro software (the "Product"). By purchasing, downloading, or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Product.
1. The Product and license
CryptoBasis Pro is a self-contained informational software tool that runs in your web browser to help you record cryptocurrency transactions and calculate figures such as cost basis and gains. Subject to these Terms and your purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Product for your own use. Unless you have separately purchased Reseller or White-Label rights from us in writing, you may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or share the Product or its files.
2. Not advice
The Product is for informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any tax documents it generates (such as a draft IRS Form 8949) are informational and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before you rely on or file them. See our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
3. Purchases, pricing and payment
Purchases are sold and processed through WarriorPlus and its payment partners. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Optional upgrades or add-on offers are separate purchases with their own pricing. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the Product. To request a refund within that window, contact us at support@cryptobasispro.com or use the support/refund options provided by WarriorPlus with your order. Refunds are processed through WarriorPlus and the original payment method. We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
5. Affiliate and creator program
If you participate in our affiliate program, the following apply in addition to the WarriorPlus affiliate terms:
- You must not make any income, earnings, profit, savings, or investment-return claims about the Product.
- You must comply with the FTC Endorsement Guides and clearly disclose your affiliate relationship.
- You may co-brand and give away the free version of the Product using the tools we provide, but you may not alter the paid Product, misrepresent it, or imply endorsement, partnership, or approval by any exchange, authority, or third party.
- No spam. You may only email lists that opted in and you own, and you must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and all applicable laws.
- No paid-search bidding on our brand or trademark terms without written permission.
- Commissions are tracked and paid by WarriorPlus under its terms. We may withhold commissions or remove affiliates for any violation of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Product for any unlawful purpose; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source beyond what applicable law permits; remove or alter notices; resell or redistribute the Product without rights from us; or use the Product to provide professional financial or tax services to others unless you are appropriately qualified and licensed to do so.
7. Intellectual property
The Product, the Site, and all related software, design, text, and the CryptoBasis Pro name and logos are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Your license does not transfer any ownership to you.
8. Third-party services
The Product and Site rely on or link to third-party services (such as payment processors and price-data providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, or policies.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Product and Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Product, any data, or any calculation is accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any financial loss, tax penalties, trading losses, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Product or Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Product.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Product or Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Product or Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
